Presley's Preschool Christmas Party

Presley's class had such a fun Christmas party this year.  

She had been looking forward to the party all month and couldn't wait to celebrate with all her friends before going on Christmas vacation.

Presley's Preschool Christmas Performance

Presley's school had their Christmas Performance earlier this month. It was absolutely beautiful and we were so proud of our little star!

Presley's class (plus another class) were the first to perform on stage. When we got there, we walked her up to the stage and she patiently waited with her friends for the show to begin.

They sang three songs:

"Happy Happy Merry Christmas"

"Jingle Bells"

"God of Love"

Presley and the PB&J

Presley has started wanting to make her own lunch everyday.  She loves to help out in the kitchen and on this particular day, she talked me into letting her make her own pb&j.  

She was doing a great job and I was so proud of her until I turned around and saw this:

I guess the temptation of that sweet strawberry jelly was just more than she could handle. 

 Here's the jelly that actually made it to the bread.

She was so proud of herself for making her own sandwich!  

She needs a little more practice, but I think we'll get there soon.

Our Beautiful Girl

 Our pretty little Presley now gets to wear glasses!

 We found out a couple of weeks ago that Presley didn't pass her eye exam at school.  After taking her to the eye doctor, we found out that although her vision isn't that bad, she does have a pretty severe astigmatism.  So our sweet girl got to pick out her very own big girl glasses!  The first thing she said when she put on her new glasses was "Wow!  Momma, I can see everything now!!!".

Looks like we can now add eye sight to the list of things she got from her Momma!

R&N Ranch

We met Blaine's side of the family at their ranch the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  The last time we were there, I was 5 weeks pregnant with Presley, so our kids have never been.  We all had so much fun and it was so great to see the family.  

We took this opportunity to take some long overdue family pictures.

Pres loved playing with Anna, Ellie, and Yaya by the pond.

After the pond, we decided to walk around.

 Their is a big beautiful oak that Presley had a blast trying to climb.

Is there anything better than playing in the leaves?

We really enjoyed our time at the ranch and can't wait to take the kids back there again soon!
