Pure Happiness!

Every now and then, Beckett will get a lot of sleep.  It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, he wakes up in a super good mood.

Q is for Q-tip shapes!

 Pres stacked Cheerios onto pieces of dry spaghetti, then tried it again with cooked spaghetti.  She decided that the hard straight noodles were much easier to stack with.  I just love the look of concentration on her face!

7 Months!

I can't believe it, but our little man is 7 months old already!!!

In honor of his big sister's first day of school, we made a back to school birthday cake.

First Week

We made it through the first week!  Presley absolutely loves school and had such a great week. She woke up so excited to go to school every morning.  I've had so much fun talking with her about her day and all the new things she has learned.

Here's a little recap of her first week at school.

 Monday

This is the first piece of artwork they sent home.  Presley said it's a circle, a rectangle, and a square.  I love it!!!

First Day of Preschool

 Getting ready to say good-bye. 
This part was really hard for me, but Pres was so happy to be there that it didn't bother her at all.  She gave me a hug and said "I'll miss you, Momma", then ran back over to the toys to play with some other little girls.
I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see all the new things she learns this year!

3 Years Old!

I can't believe another year has gone by so quickly and our sweet little girl is already 3 years old!  We had so much fun celebrating her third birthday this year. 

We started her birthday the night before.  It's our tradition for Blaine to always read "Happy Birthday to You", a.k.a "The Birthday Bird", by Dr. Seuss.  Ya-Ya read it every year to him and now he reads it every year to Presley.

 After she went to bed, the Birthday Bird came and decorated the entire breakfast table.  Presley's favorite book is "Pinkalicious", so we had everything ready for a very Pinkalicious birthday breakfast!

For breakfast we had pink pancakes (with pink strawberry syrup), pink strawberry muffins, pink strawberry-banana yogurt, strawberries, raspberries, and pink strawberry milk.

 After nap, it was time to go to our gymnastics birthday party!!!
