Morning at Brushy Creek Park

This morning, we woke up early and took Presley out for a walk along the trail at Brushy Creek Park. At 7:30am, Blaine and I loaded Pres in her jogging stroller and started out on the trail (along with our obligatory cups of very strong coffee). It was absolutely beautiful outside! It would probably reach 100 degrees later in the day, but that early in the morning, it was perfect. We've lived in this area of town for 8 years, and this is the first time we have ever walked this trail together. I can't believe it took us so long for us to do this, but we will definitely start doing this more often.

We were only out there for about 30 minutes, so there is still so much more for us to see. We walked mostly along the "lake" and took some super cute pictures of Presley. She loved being outside and did so well posing for all her pictures.

We found a cute little area that had a bunch of water fountains for kids to play in. This will be perfect in the summer when it's 1oo degrees before 10:00am. I just need to remember to bring Presley's swimsuit with us next time.

After we were done we drove to Waterloo and Presley got her new favorite breakfast: blueberry pancakes and bananas! This was such a great way to start our day together!
