Thanksgiving 2013

 

 We had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year at the Noel house again this year. 

 I completely forgot to get  some pics of all the food, but here are few family shots we got after dinner.

Visiting Santa

We made our annual trip to the mall to meet with Santa.  

Presley was so ready and couldn't get there fast enough.  Becks on the other hand, was...well, not impressed with the big guy.  That's okay, now we have a matching set of pictures with both kids screaming their lungs out at their second meeting with Santa (click here to see Presley's second year Santa pic).

After taking the picture (and calming Becks down with a lollipop) it was time to mail our letter to Jingle, our elf on the shelf.

Pres had written him a letter and we placed it in Santa's mailbox at the mall.

 

I told her to tell me what she wanted to say and I would write it for her. 

 Here's what she said:

Then, when we were done, she decided she wanted to write her own letter to him.  She asked us how to spell some words and she wrote this:

Apparently she doesn't want Jingle to repeat any of the fun things he did last year (click here to see what Jingle did last Christmas season).  

I sure hope Jingle is on his game this year!!!

Our Super Swimmer!

We are so unbelievably proud of our little Presley. 

 She graduated from Nitro 1 and is now in Nitro 2.  

For those of you who don't know, Nitro is where Pres has been taking swim lessons since she was 11 months old.  When she turned three, she was eligible to start Nitro 1, which is a series of 10 stations.  

In order to graduate, she had to swim a total of 40 yards on her own (20 yards free style, and 20 yards backstroke).   When she swam those 40 yards everyone in the pool was cheering her on. 

It was amazing!

When you graduate from Nitro 1 you get a t shirt that reads "I Had Fun in Nitro 1!"

She is so proud of this shirt!!!

Halloween 2013

We had a great Halloween this year!

We started our day with a yummy Halloween breakfast of pumpkin pancakes. 

My little chef in training insisted on helping me make them.  She loves to flip pancakes!!!

A few chocolate chips, some pumpkin bread, bacon, and a side of fruit completed our spooky breakfast.

After breakfast, it was time to get dressed for school.  Presley's class was having a Halloween party and they all made shirts in class to wear.  Pres was beyond excited to get dressed in her new shirt and go to school!

She was ready for Halloween right down to her toes!

Her class party was so much fun.  She loved all the fun activities.  They had games, a craft, and cookie decorating.  Daddy even took some time off work to come say hi!

 

 

 

    When we got home we had a quick nap, dinner, and then it was time to get dressed and go trick-or-treating.  We got Becks dressed first...and he was just not having it.  Guess he didn't want to be the Itsy Bitsy Spider.

 

 So back in his regular clothes he went. 

 We'll try again next year...

   Pres, on the other hand, couldn't get her costume on quick enough. 

She was ready to go get that candy!!!  

Is she not the cutest little ladybug you have ever seen???

 

   
 Beckett was finally happy to follow in the wagon while our little ladybug raced from door to door collecting gobs of candy.
