For the past couple of months, Nikki and I have been talking about how much fun it would be for the kids to start spending the night with each other. Presley and Logan are only 15 days apart and have always been so close. Since they will both be four in a couple of months, we decided to they were old enough to have sleepovers. We invited Logan over and both kids were so excited!
We wanted this to be a super fun night for both of them, so we started with a dinner they both love...BBQ from Rudy's!
While Blaine and I finished feeding Becks and cleaned the kitchen we let the kids watch one of their favorite movies...Cars.
We looked up and saw the two of them sitting like this. They are too cute!
After dinner, it was time for roasting marshmallows and s'mores!
They were ooey, gooey, and so good!!!
After a little playtime outside and bath, it was time to put pajamas on and go to bed.
We read stories, said prayers, and got everyone tucked into bed. The kids were fine about going to bed, but about 10 minutes later, Logan came downstairs asking for Nikki. We got him tucked back in (and we thought asleep) but sure enough, he woke up again...and again...and again. Around midnight we had to call Nikki to come pick him up.
Pres was so sad that he couldn't stay. She told me the next day that Logan probably wanted to go home because he must have though her bed was spooky.
We'll try again someday, but for now we will probably just stick to spending the day with each other.
