We're Halfway There!

We went in for our mid point ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and got some new pictures of our sweet little baby (sorry I'm a little late posting these pics...currently, we are at 21 weeks)! This is the ultrasound where you can find out the sex of the baby, but we had said from the beginning of this pregnancy that we wanted to wait and be surprised. It was so incredibly hard to know that we could find out if we wanted to. All we had to do was ask and the doctor would tell us...in fact, she knew right away because as soon as she started the ultrasound the baby was positioned to show off his/her little secret. But, we stayed strong and looked away. Well, actually I looked away and Blaine kept trying to peek...but luckily the doctor worked quickly and Blaine didn't get a good look at anything. I thought for sure that if anyone was going to crack, it would definitely be me...but Blaine was ready to find out right then and there.

We made it through the appointment without finding out (yea!!!) and got a few new pics to show off. I told the doctor to not give us any pictures with anything below the waist because I knew we would go home and examine them for months looking for a little clue as to what it is. As a result we don't have as many pictures as we did with Presley's midpoint ultrasound, but we did get a few cute face shots. Enjoy!

This is a picture of the heart on the left, and the heart rate on the right...161 beats per minute! Strong and healthy!!! This picture also has all the baby's measurements on it. It's definitely a bigger baby than Presley was at this time.

Front view of his/her little face with little arms up by the head.

Notice we had to turn this picture upside down. From the time she took the last picture to this one, the baby had already flipped around. It's a wiggly little thing!!! I love this profile shot and he/she still has a little hand up by the face.

I can't wait to meet this little baby!!! 4 more months to go!

Lemonade and Sunshine

Presley's second birthday party was a huge success! Everything turned out perfectly and Presley had the best time. Enjoy the pictures below of Presley Lemonade and Sunshine birthday party!

Presley's lemonade stand built by Daddy!

Lemon treats for our guests to take home.

You can't have a lemonade party without lemonade!

Yummy treats (and a few healthy ones too) for our guests to enjoy.

Lemon and cream cheese cupcakes made by Mommy and Daddy...all 54 of them!

Mommy and the birthday girl!

We hired a singer/face painter to entertain the kids at the party. She was amazing and Presley absolutely loved dancing along while she sang. This is the view from our stairs...it was a packed house (and this only shows about half the guests!)

Listening to a few songs with my sweet little princess.

So pretty! A quick little break while jumping in the bouncy house.

More singing and bubbles outside!

Cupcake time!

The heat of the day finally took it's toll, so Presley is having a little ice treat with Daddy and Ya-Ya.

This was such a great day. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it so special.

Presley Turns Two!

This is the very fist picture of Presley Blayne Noel on August 18, 2009. She was less that 30 seconds old here.

Fast forward two years....

This is the very first picture of a two year old Presley! I love her morning bed head and super sleepy attempt at a smile.

Blaine took the whole week off of work and we decided to spend the whole day pampering Presley and doing everything she loves.

First on the list, breakfast!

Presley's favorite meal is by far breakfast...and since she LOVES french toast, that's what Mommy made her! Star shaped French toast, bacon, and fresh strawberries.

I think it took her all of 2 minutes to finish everything on the plate before asking for more!

After breakfast we decided to give Presley her birthday present from Mommy and Daddy. Blaine had stayed up until after midnight the night before putting her little play kitchen together. It turned out so cute! We were so excited for her to see it!!!

She instantly loved it and started playing with it immediately.

We played upstairs with her kitchen for about an hour, then got our swimsuits on and headed to swim lessons. We forgot to take the camera with us, so we don't have any pictures. But anyone who knows Presley, knows that she loves nothing more than swimming!

After swimming we came home, had a quick peanut butter and honey sandwich, then headed to bed for nap time.

After she woke up from her nap, we dressed her in her birthday girl outfit and headed to HEB to get everything for Presley's special birthday dinner.

In Presley's honor, we had breakfast for dinner!

Eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, fruit, and chocolate chip pancakes!

Presley's chocolate chip pancakes!

Happy birthday to you.

Happy birthday to you.

Happy birthday dear Presley.

Happy birthday to you!!!

After she ate most of her eggs, bacon, and fruit, it was time to dig into her pancakes. She was so excited when we gave her the whole pancake.

Yum!

After dinner, we played some more, then it was time for Presley's favorite part of the day....bubble bath!

Part of Presley's birthday tradition is to listen to Daddy read "The Birthday Bird".

It's kind of a long book, so Presley danced around and played in her room while we listened to Daddy read to us.

Having a blast jumping up and down.

So cute!!!

One last picture before going to bed. I can't believe my little baby is two years old. This was the best day and hope Presley knows just how much Mommy and Daddy love her.

Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl!

Gymnastics and Awards Ceremony

Presley's gymnastics class had "Showcase Day" where she got to invite Daddy to come see how much she has learned. I was so excited for Blaine to see how well she is doing and how much better she's gotten since the last time he came to see her.

Warming up with the group before moving to floor exercises.

Presley's best friend at gymnastics is Layla, and Layla is so in love with Presley. Every time she sees her, she treats her like a little baby doll and showers her with hugs and kisses!

Presley loves every bit of it!

They are just too cute together!

Walking on the balance beam.

Just finished a back roll...and Ta-Da!

My little monkey.

Sweet girl!

Waiting for the awards ceremony to start.

So beautiful!

Walking up the podium with a little help from her teacher, Ms. Cheryl.

Yea! Presley's very first award!!!

Bathing Beauty

I don't have too much to say about these pictures.... just thought they were too dang cute not to share. Blaine snapped a few shots of Presley one day when we were on our way to the pool and I absolutely love how they turned out.

Cutie Pie!!!

Our New Favorite Activity....Coloring!

Presley has recently discovered that she loves to color! We've started letting her sit up at the table and color while I make dinner, or after we're done eating.

She actually does a great job holding the crayons and colors really well!

I love how her little tongue comes out when she's trying to concentrate. So cute!!!

I think we have a little future artist on our hands.

We went in for our 12 week genetic screening ultrasound and got some great new pictures of our little baby cakes!

Kicking away!

Little Froggie Legs

Beautiful Profile

Is he/she a thumb sucker already???

On a side note, all of our tests came back and everything is great. We have one healthy little baby waiting to join the family soon!
