First Trip to the Beach

Back in May, we took a trip down to Corpus.  Presley has been dying to see the beach, so we made sure to take the kids for the afternoon.  They loved it! Enjoy the pics below of Presley and Beckett's first trip to the beach!

I don't feel right about posting these pictures of us having fun at the beach, without mentioning why we went to corpus in the first place.

At 10:37 am, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, a mudslide devastated the town of Oso, Washington. It engulfed 49 homes and killed 43 people.  Among those 43 were my Aunt Theresa Harris and Uncle Steve Harris.
We went to Corpus in May to attend their memorial in the same church they were married in 30 years earlier.  It was a beautiful ceremony for two very beautiful souls.  They were dearly loved and will be missed.

Rest in peace, Aunt Theresa and Uncle Steve.
We will see you again one day.
Love you.

Ballet Recital

Presley did another awesome job at her dance recital this year.  She danced to "A Whole New World" and was the sweetest little princess on that stage.

This was her last year of dance for a while.  Once kindergarten starts, we won't have much time for after school activities.  I've so loved watching her do ballet and tap. Hopefully, once she is able to do more after school, she will want to get back into ballet.
I'm so proud of my little ballerina.  She truly shines on the stage!
